My name is Julie Ballew, and I am a fifth grade

language arts & social studies teacher in Houston,

TX. I have a passion for young people, and I am so fortunate to make a living by doing what I love.

        I am back in the classroom after spending six

        amazing years as a literacy coach. This site is a
