March 15th: Oh my - it has been too long! I am enjoying the last day

of my Spring Break, and I decided I need to finally post all of the pictures

I’ve been taking the last few months!

This update includes a few new anchor chart pictures and several Kindergarten reader’s notebook entries.  I also added some photos from a workshop I taught on using reader’s notebooks in Kindergarten.  The teachers wrote some possible stems and questions that partners might use to strengthen their work with prompt cards. Those are on the literacy stations page.

Finally, I added some paintings that I made for the office area of my school to the Quotes page, and I posted a conferring cheat sheet that Rachel Scott (a fabulous teacher at my school) helped me make after we went to the Teachers College Writing Institute last year.  You can download it from the Minilessons page (because I don’t have a conferring page yet).

I am still blogging for Scholastic, which is why I haven’t been updating as often.
